Ellie can sense that something big is about to happen.
She has been moping around all day and we found her in Sydney's room recently. She will be staying with her favorite friends Chris and Shawna and their dogs Sadie and Pepper. She will also get to stay with Grandpa and Grammy Pederson which should be fun, with the cats Snickers and Chester (aka the Evil one). We sure will miss our first baby!

Wendy & Brian.....Mom and I send you guys off with our love and prayers for a safe and successful journey full of exciting adventures and new sights and sounds (and smells). Mom mentioned to me if you found out if you could use your cell phone in China. Steve (Lee) wants to see your itinerary. He thinks Abby might be near the towns you are going to. Maybe she may be able to connect briefly with you guys. The joe family side is planning to meet Thursday at Karen Cass' new home in San Pedro for a lunch and reunion. Wynn and Bette are coming down. Mike/Desiree/Maddie will also be there. Wednesday the Quan side of the family are meeting in Irvine (Sam Wo's Seafood Restaurant) and most of the relatives are coming (wow). Have a great Christmas flight and don't be too hard on yourselves ( ie expecting everything to turn out right). Relax and have fun and let serendipity be your friend.

Merry Christmas all! We are stuffed from 'another' big meal and are settling in to watch a movie (gift from Corey). The "girls" as we affectionately call Ellie, Sadie and Pepper are snoozing at our feet. We let them out to play during dinner and they have exhausted themselves with a robust game of tag.
Ellie loves to play with her friends, seeks attention from Chris and follows Shawna everywhere. She likes it best when we stay in one room for a while.
More of Corey's friends are arriving to watch the movie with us and Ellie is the greeting committee. She doesn't bark when she hears the knock, but is the first at the door to say hello.
We'll keep you posted if there are any fun Ellie stories to share. I'm sure she's looking forward to mom & dad's return and will be excited to meet Sydney (like the rest of us!!).
