Hello out there, you faithful (curious) ones! Sydney just passed a big milestone two days ago, turning a whopping 1.5 years old. After our trip to California we have been back to the routine of work and hanging out. Sydney is unmistakeably getting bigger and sassier every day. Her personality is bigger than her, that's for sure. We'll let you know all the technical details after this Monday's 18-month doctor's appointment.
Meanwhile, Sydney is broadening her language and physical skills. She now says "ilk" for milk, "gabl" for bagel, "eyesss" for eyes or sunglasses, and can identify everyone's nose, eyes, mouth, belly button and other visible body parts. She knows where Ellie's dog treats are and will feed Ellie gladly, especially if she can feel Ellie's tongue. She has been trying to dress and undress herself and does a pretty good job with her shoes. Most of the time her shirt and shorts are being dragged around her ankles, unless she gets the shorts on her head.
That's just silly.
Toga girl - with Baba's shirt.
Sydney has been crawling into small spaces whenever she can find them. Here she is in a box, a bin for Ellie's toys, and the storage compartment of her stroller.
Sydney got her first taste of the Clark County Fair! She thoroughly enjoyed the Dairy Women's soft serve twist cone.
Here she is longing to go on a ride - but she's a little too short.
She started climbing the fence that separates the kiddie rides from this eating area we were in.
And finally, here's our big girl in her new bike helmet.
